Project Background

This project is about an outdoor brand where I created the brand’s logo, developed a colour scheme, and used appropriate font pairings. The goal of this project was to create a strong and cohesive brand identity that reflects RiverStone’s outdoor and adventurous theme. I focused on maintaining consistency across all design elements while ensuring the final result remained visually appealing and easy to recognize.

How it came together

Planning

I began the planning process by researching outdoor brands and logo styles to understand how they represent an adventurous and natural aesthetic. I explored different colour palettes, typography, and visual styles that would best match the RiverStone brand. From there, I started creating logo concepts, testing different fonts and colours to find the strongest direction for the brand identity.

The Journey

During the project, I focused on developing a consistent brand identity by improving the logo, colour scheme, and typography. I experimented with different layouts and combinations to ensure everything worked well together. I found it challenging to create a layout that felt unique to the brand, which led me to explore multiple design approaches before selecting the strongest direction. I then organized all the elements into a structured brand book, making sure each section was clear, visually appealing, and easy to follow while maintaining consistency throughout.
